What a trauma healing session involves

In the centre of your being is the light you’re looking for, in order to feel healed and whole.

If you were the victim of sexual, emotional or physical abuse, this light is hidden from you. 

If you were the victim of a natural disaster, this light is hidden from you. 

If a narcissist (covert or overt) said subtle but undermining things, gaslighting you all the way (or even just sometimes), this light is hidden from you. 

You know this light is there but you cannot see it or find it.

This light represents who you truly are, your essence, your inner sparkle, the real you ✨️

The one that was buried under all the cr**, out of necessity – the cr** you received, the cr** you created to protect yourself, the cr** you told yourself because you believed it couldn’t be any other way, the secrets you had to keep, no one to share the burden with.

This is trauma.

Whether it happened in the near or distant past, it is there, in your body, mind and energy, preventing you from being you and from living your own life, with your own dreams, desires and gifts.

You’re not even sure what those are, actually, but it is time to (re)discover them.

You cannot do this unveiling on your own because it requires access to unconscious beliefs, patterns, thoughts and maybe even memories. It requires specific techniques, too, an empathetic ear, and a sensitive and experienced person.

I know it’s hard to believe that in just one session you could feel sooooo much better and like a massive weight has been lifted off your shoulders. You would need a close friend who has done an IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) session with me to tell you all about it in order for you to believe it.

The best I can do is tell you how it works and give you testimonials of people you don’t know but perhaps can relate to in some way.

When a client gets up to leave the session, their proprioception has completely changed – like there is suddenly so much space in places where the trauma had resided. I then help them inhabit their new body and new energy (with reiki, touch, grounding, moving, shaking), and they leave feeling ANEW. 

Renewed, rejuvenated and actually NEW.

I know, it’s unimaginable.

It feels magical.

This is the kind of thing we have forgotten we can do as people, because the patriarchy has burnt witches, wise women and medicine women at the stake, or, later, let them live but denied their powers. 

Trauma release at the deepest of our being is possible. 

What an IEMT session involves

  1. getting in touch with the main emotion present in your body right now (in the session)
  2. getting in touch with the feeling it triggers in your body
  3. me asking you a series of very specific questions
  4. me moving my finger in front of your face in very specific patterns
  5. you following my finger without moving your head
  6. me asking further questions as I notice reactions in your eyes

Because I’m also an energy healer, hypnotherapist and an NLP and EFT practitioner, and because I am thoroughly trauma-informed, I add positive suggestions, reiki/energy healing, movement, shaking, grounding, etc.
